Our school band is a group of student musicians who rehearse and perform instrumental music together. Band Instruction is only offered from grade 7 to 9. Our school consist of 32 band students and 3 Band Majors “Yashvi Jadhav”, “Falakaara Mansuri” and “Vinita Bamne”, Instruments offered include: Euphonium, Trumpet, Side Drum, Cymbals and Base Drum.

In the small group setting, girls focus on numerous concepts and skills. They learn to play their instrument with proper breath support, enbououchure development, tone quality, aural skills, intonation, instrument technique, music reading, listening skills, ensemble playing and teamwork.

The girls have been well trained for “In Three’s Marching”, a quick drill march, besides being trained in “Circle Marching”, “Bugler and Drummer Group Marching”, “Group Cover Marching”, “Figure Eight Marching”, “Square Marching”, etc.

The School Band gives display of its prowess on important occasions like the Independence Day, Republic Day, Sports Day and different school events.
