Art Room

The Art room is an environment that allows the girls imagination to express itself. The teaching staff encourage creativity and help the students to develop their innate talent.

A. V. Room

In Today’s world, digital media with the help of the internet has become an integral part of our lives. As such, the audio visual teaching aids have started to make an impact in the field of education too. Digital media helps the students to understand many concepts, which would otherwise be very difficult to explain, by creating an analogy with real world events.

The AV room is put to good use for recreating the historic battles and victories of the past or to show the workings of the complex human anatomy or to take the students on a trip to the vast void of space. Needless to say, the AV room has a pivotal role in making learning enjoyable and full of fun.

Chemistry Laboratory

The place where things go boom. Our chemistry lab is packed with compounds to stimulate the mind

Computer Lab

With several desktop computers available to accommodate the needs of an entire class of students and even more capable teachers to instruct them, the computer lab introduces students from the basics of a CPU to programs in HTML and coding. Computers and projector were donated to the school by the Nargis Dutt Memorial Trust on the 14th of November, 2009.

Knowledge Center

The Knowledge Centre is well equipped with a library of digital resources mapped to the school syllabus. This room acts as the nerve center for the school. It is connected to the smart boards in each and every class.

The school provides training to its teachers so that they can introduce new teaching techniques. Every teacher acquires a thorough knowledge of handling these smart boards. The Knowledge Center provides the teachers with all the updated information they need in order to make every class interesting and productive. Teachers may also include their own learning materials. For example :- presentations etc for use by their students.

The smart boards i.e audio-visual method appeals most to the senses. It leaves a deeper impact as it involves greater attention in the act of learning and helps the child to retain the concepts taught through these aids.

Library

The Kingdom of Reading… where Books rule!

The Apostolic Library is at the heart of its learning. It houses over twenty five thousand books, fiction and nonfiction. From a pre-World War II copy of Hitlers Mein Kempf to the latest Hunger Game series, the Carmel Library boasts of the best books a student may need.

However that’s not our all! To keep our brains active, the Library has Theme months based on authors, countries, or events. A monthly “Rack your Brain” quiz keeps us updated on the latest news and events. Weekly language games can win attractive prizes. The attractive 54 inch LCD screen lets us see everything from the Aurora Borealis to a laughing Kokkaburra!

A well informed team of library assistants are always present to furnish students with any books that they may require for project work or just a perusal.

Physics Laboratory

More than a mere classroom, the physics laboratory is the place where students do physics. It is in the laboratory that students learn to practice the activities of scientists – asking questions, performing procedures, collecting data, analyzing data, answering questions, and thinking of new questions to explore.

Prayer Room

For the moments in life, when our own abilities seem so limited, we reach out to the Divine in the Prayer room.
